Organising procurement centralisation
of construction franchise network’s production

Context

Aiming to increase turnover by 15% per year over the next three years, this company specializing in the construction of houses wanted to strengthen its position as market leader.

Recognizing that this goal would be achieved through the improved productivity of its franchisees, the network head decided to review its organization, particularly in procurement processes which were not structured and had no visibility.

Knowing that sourcing represented 60% of the sale price of a home, this reorganization was considered strategic by the network head.

Mission

To carry out this project, the Executive Management of the company relied on Karistem to address three key challenges:

  • Consolidate all purchases and information related to market providers in order to determine the most relevant optimization choices
  • Define the most efficient purchasing organization vis-à-vis all franchisees
  • Accompany the network head and franchisees in the implementation of the organization and previously identified procurement processes

Why Karistem?

Three key factors explaining why Karistem was chosen:

  • Its experience in realising sourcing diagnostics, both from an organizational point of view and at the process level
  • Its ability to deliver tangible and measurable results over time
  • Its expertise in change management
