Karistem helps a major banking player
to define the scope of the Corporate University
Context
During a transformation phase, a major banking player wishes to set up, in a constrained time, a digital Corporate University initially targeted its leaders.
The University should enable them to:
- Make available quality content (conferences, learning expeditions, articles) echoing strategic issues for the company (linked to international or digital matters for example);
- Establish a dedicated community platform.
The Company sought Karistem’s support to define the scope of this University and develop a detailed roadmap to implement it.
Mission
After collecting and analyzing existing resources (interviews, existing documents), the approach chosen by Karistem was to design the University along four axes :
- Its services: programs and procedures; value proposition
- Its business model: costs, financing and internal invoicing
- Its strategy and communication plan
- Its Governance (instances and composition), organization (roles and responsibilities, processes) and its operational practices with internal customers (network operation)
Then, Karistem optimized the use of the platform (support the definition of what is necessary and implement moderation / webmastering) and wrote a detailed roadmap to implement the University.
The main results of the approach chosen by KAristem were:
- A “turnkey” University delivered on time
- The ExCom enrolled in the project
- The creation of a catalog of top quality ‘content’ targeting at Top Executives
- The creation of a 3 months roadmap helping the post-opening of the University
