Victoria, senior consultant

After an internship in 2012, I was recruited by Karistem as a business analyst. Originally from Newcastle and a graduate of Durham University, where I studied History, I came to France to study a Masters in International Economic Policy at Sciences Po Paris. Here I also specialised in Energy and Environment topics. After a first experience as a Learning Coach within a large chain, I worked at the European Parliament within the Committee for the Financial, Economic and Social crisis before working with a Member of the European Parliament.

In 2012, I joined the consulting firm Karistem where, as soon as I arrived, I was involved in an assignment for a CAC 40 company, as well as a study for the HR Division. I had been attracted by consulting for some time and Karistem gave me the opportunity to consult for large companies, notably in the industrial and energy sectors. In a smaller human-sized team, I don’t feel like a number but truly invested in and involved in the company’s responsibilities; this counted a lot when I accepted their job offer when I finished my internship. After many and interested missions, including in other sectors as services, my investment has been rewarded: I became a senior consultant in 2015.

Today, I work on various assignments and projects in line with the consulting profession as I see it. That’s to say, understand and analyse issues, find solutions and accompany the teams with which I work. I have also started to manage the work work of business analysts during missions. Furthermore, Karistem gives me the opportunity to work on internal projects, such as the development of a consulting offer for innovative workshops, the firm’s CSR policy or the organization of debate lunches with outsiders who come to share their experience and projects.
